Bio

I spent much of my youth rummaging around the woods, swamps, and pond edges looking for amphibians, reptiles, and whatever else I could find.  I earned a BS in Natural Resources Mgmt. (fisheries, forestry, and wildlife) and a Masters in Wildlife Ecology.  After 38 years working in the field I’m winding down that professional work.  I also have a love for the mountains and their flora and fauna.  On worldwide travels I always bring my journal and at least one camera

The galleries on this site are a sample of my photographs.  The blog page hosts some writings and works in progress.

I reside in Seattle, Washington, where the mountains are always calling.
